A stylish 60th for a stylish lady

A few weeks ago we had the privilege of arranging a stylish 60th birthday afternoon tea for a very stylish lady. Her lovely daughter contacted us for assistance in putting a modern high tea together for her mum and her friends.

We chose a colour palette light blue, deep red and salmony pinks, with a modern floral design for the invitation (it obviously didn't have the blurry black bits on it - we have blurred it for privacy reasons).

With 12 ladies in attendance, we put together a small savoury table inside, featuring zucchini slice, assorted pastries, home made cheese and ham scrolls and dainty finger sandwiches.  We also placed assorted jars and vases on the table, full of fresh flowers.

We also styled a dessert table, which we positioned outside on the sunny deck. This featured white chocolate cake pops, sweet slices, vanilla cupcakes with butter cream icing, fresh berries and then of course, scones with jam and cream.

The client had set up the backyard with a selection of chairs and tables, to which we added some hanging lanterns and flowers. The space really was divine - so pretty, calm and stylish.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day Lorraine - and happy birthday!
