First Communion

We love it when our customers share with us what they do with our Edibles after they are collected, and Kelly has excelled with this dessert table.

We just couldn't resist sharing the feedback we received from our client  "Everyone just loved the edibles and Grace was just so happy! Everything tasted wonderful and my table never looked so beautiful!". It puts a big smile on our face.

Working with a brief of  "something pretty and a colour palate of white, pink and touch of green" we designed decorative cross and heart shaped sugar cookies, colour matching macarons and cake pops as well as the ever so popular personalised chocolate bars.

Finally a special thanks to Kelly for letting us be a part of your daughters special day, for sending these snapshots and providing us with great feedback.

'A very hungry caterpillar' themed babyshower

We were thrilled when we were recently asked to put together some pieces for a baby shower with The Very Hungry Caterpillar as the central theme. The guest of honour is a teacher, so it seemed very apt and we loved creating all the little details to help her bring the baby shower to life.

Love these biscuits - each one had a tiny hole in it!
Big thanks to Giggleberry Creations for the gorgeous bunting and Squiggle & Stitch for the fabulous purple spotty table runner. The fun caterpillar was made from pom poms by the lovely Pom Pom Princess.

All candy, edibles, cake stands and jars from The Inspired Occasion.

Finally, big congrats to Bec and Kristy on their wonderful job of styling the table!

Join us to dance the night away!

Who doesn't love a disco dance? And nothing says disco, like a shimmery shiny disco ball. This fun party that we recently put together for a gorgeous 12 year old included everything a disco loving girl could possibly want!

We started off by preparing each guest a survival pack to take home. Each one included a glittering nail polish, a CD containing all the birthday girls favourite songs, a personalised chocolate bar and some lollies. We were so pleased with how these came up and can't wait to do them again!

And what disco for a 12 year old is complete without lots and lots of pink?! Everything from pink glasses, to 150 pink balloons helped to set the scene.

The highlight of the dessert station was the lovely disco ball cake created by Cakes & Biscuits by Lisa. It also included; mini chocolate mousse cups, pink donuts, macarons, cake pops, cupcakes and of course, lots of delicious candy!

We also arranged a karaoke machine and a chocolate fountain - which the kids loved and we heard they rocked out long into the night!

All the printables for this party were inspired by the invite design by Jennifer Birkhead.
All styling and edibles are from The Inspired Occasion.

You can check out another of our favourite disco parties here.

We have another busy weekend, with a cocktail party on Saturday night (the first of the Christmas season - when did that sneak up?!) and then off to Williamstown on Sunday for Fairy Floss Markets, where we will be the cupcake chicks again.

Would love to see you there :)
