{Oh Sweet Mum} - A Virtual Mothers Day E-vent

When Little Big Company approached us to work alongside them and provide the edibles for the Blissfully Sweet - Oh Sweet Mum E-vent we were thrilled and once we reviewed the event details we were even more excited to be part of such a wonderful event.

"A day filled with sweet inspiration by the best sweet and style artisans in Australia round the world. 

What these wonderful artists have put together is an indulgence of every sense. A day of complete visual pleasure.

Oh Sweet Mum is a dedication to everyone out there with a mum, who has lost a mum, as well as everyone of us as mums!

This event is made in dedication to my own mum, Suzanne Wadey, who passed away 10 years ago this year from breast cancer. Mum was far too young to have left, but left such a wealth of memories inside my heart that live with me in every single decision I make! Thank you Mum!

Wiggles Inspired Edibles

How much fun did we have creating some Wiggles edibles for a wonderful client whose son was turning 3?

We are looking forward to seeing the client’s photo’s, showing how she themed her Wiggles Dessert Station with the edible items we provided.  These included:     

  • A Big Red Car Chocolate Mud Cake
  • Red Jelly Slice
  • Yellow Balloon Sugar Cookies on sticks
  • Blue Oreo Cakepops
  • Vanilla Cupcakes featuring Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and of course, Dorothy the Dinosaur

Oscar Wilde - Themed Dessert Station

Last month, thanks to Timeout Melbourne, we had the pleasure of theming an Oscar Wilde dessert station.  The occasion was the launch of The Wilde, a new restaurant and bar on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.

With a name like The Wilde the brief was simple, think "Victorian English Dandies” prim and proper, with a little bit of debauchery thrown in. 

We used an array of props including vintage suitcases, a vintage typewriter, Victorian inspired silverware, jewellery boxes and cake stands to create an interesting talking point for the evening.

The menu was kept to some old fashioned favourites, with the addition of some of our most popular Inspired staples such as cake pops and macarons.

  • Chocolate Mousse Shots
  • Mini Vanilla Cupcakes
  • Macarons
  • Cakepops

It was an evening full of cocktails, life drawings and guests dressed to impress.
