Alice in Wonderland inspired Kitchen Tea Party

A few weeks ago on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon, The Inspired Occasion had the pleasure of event managing a Kitchen Tea Party with an Alice in Wonderland Twist. The long table was set with teacups and saucers, beautiful cake stands, Alice in Wonderland themed props and quotes from the movie along with handmade chair covers and cushions crafted by Susan herself.

A carefully selected afternoon tea menu baked by The Inspired Occasion consisted of cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, sugar biscuits, scones with cream and jam, gourmet chicken and salmon cream cheese ribbon sandwiches as well as quiche and savoury pastries.

The Inspired Occasion also provided a small themed drinks station with drink dispenser, champagne glasses, milk bottles and straws.

Garden Tea Party - Come join us down in the garden....

You are invited to join us down in the garden at this beautiful tea party that we designed for a 6th birthday. We wanted to put together something pretty and fun.

Instead of a standard dessert table, we set a beautiful table, filled with all sorts of delicious goodies and flowers from the garden. Each of the children took home one of these gorgeous little flower pots as a take home favour - which they loved!

Above the table we hung lots of pom poms in bright greens, yellow and pinks, as well as a ribbon mobile. Each of the chairs had lovely crisp white covers and big pink bows - so girly and pretty.

We also filled a table with colour co-ordinated candy, persian fairy floss, fun toffee apples and a gorgeous ruffle cake, made by The Inspired Occasion. Above the table we hung another of the ribbon mobiles - these were so simple to put together, yet looked so lovely on the day.

Along with their pot plants, each child also got to take home one of these personalised chocolate bars. They are such a sweet addition to a take home favour - all the kids (and parents) love them!

Finally, what party would be complete without some personalised pop tops? As well as the glass vintage style milk bottles on each place setting, we put together some pop tops for the kids.

We hope you have enjoyed this trip down to the garden with us!
