So, with that, while it is still raining here in Melbourne and some parts of the state are being flooded out, we are dreaming of warmer sunny days. When I came across this wedding created by Carter and Cook Event Co., I just had to share. While it is a wedding, the theme would lend itself to so many variations - special birthday, wedding shower, anniversary or even a corporate dinner.
Enjoy!
Loving the pretty peach and mint colour theme and the rambling, mis-matched flowers. The guests were served a bbq dinner outdoors on mis-matched plates. It gives the event such a casual feel, while still retaining it's elegance.
The mis-matched plate detail continues across to the escort/place card wall. The designers got the idea from an interiors magazine, but it has translated so well. Looks great!
As night fell, the event was lit with strings of lights and hundreds of candles. Guests were able to sit on couches and relax under the summer sky.
